Chapter 10 – My Attribute is Unexpectedly?

Leaving the portal, Xzavon noticed that he wasn’t at the entrance to the school, he was in a room instead. The room wasn’t that big, but it was a luxurious room that many people hoped to have in their lifetime. Golden jewelery, beautiful wooded shelves with mysterious books, a black chrome desk, windows the sparkle. If you had to even think of any words to describe it, it would be amazing, one of a kind.

*Squeak*

The golden chair from behind the desk turned around, and in the chair was the teacher who greeted his parents. He wasn’t that good-looking, the words to describe him would be normal, just normal.

Curving his lips upwards he looked at Xzavon, “Hohoho, didn’t expect you to teleport in here. Let me introduce my self, I am, James von Weser. Head of Saint Hail Academy, and a powerful mage on top of it.”

James stood up from his seat and walked towards Xzavon, “And you my child are Raven Phenix, of course you know I already know that. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t want you here, it’s just that I’ve been told by a certain someone to not make it easy for you.”

Xzavon knew that it had to be Jim who told him to give him a hard time at school. Now he had another thing to complain to Jim about when he gets a break and is able to go home. “Well then Jam-” Before Xzaovn had a chance to finish James waved his hand, and it told him not to say another word.

Glancing towards him, “First thing first, I am not James but Headmaster. Second thing, at this school power rules and family backing is way down the list. Third thing, I am not going to be hard on you because of what that person said. I’m going to because I want you to lose at the end of the year, then my daughter will finally have a husband.”

Xzavon knew if he lost he had to marry this guys daughter, but he didn’t know how she looked. If she looked anything like him, she would be ok to take as his wife. Nodding his head, “As long as she is big enough, i’ll take her.”

James face turned red, “What! Don’t you have any shame boy, you can’t say things like that.”

Xzavon simply tilted his head, “Why not J-Headmaster?”

Calming himself down, James thought that Jim just didn’t teach his son about manner at all. Not only would he get a strong son-in-law, but he was stupid on certain things. “Eh, there are certain conditions here on the Bloodbore continent that doesn’t let men talk sexually or act towards females. Although it’s ok to touch and feel them, that’s only if you are married, dueling them, or they allow it. If you touch them without doing any of those things, it could be considered as tainting them, which isn’t allowed. Also using words to describe certain things, could also be considering as tainting them or harassing. We try to keep up a dignified image of our women, and all of them are praise worthy.”

Of course James lied, there was no rules like this, but he figured Xzavon would believe him since he has never been here before. Xzavon nodded his head, James was ecstatic about this, now he doesn’t have to worry about Xzavon coming into contact with other girls while he is at school. This means phase one of his plan is complete, now all he needs to do is create chances for his daughter to meet and greet him.

James led Xzavon out the door and down the hall, “So tell me, what do you want to become in this school? We have all kinds of classes related to close combat, long-range, even some spirit related classes if you have some of that.”

Without hesitation Xzavon chose mage, because that has been his goal since the beginning and nothing would change that. This is going to be his first step to becoming the number one mage, and have his name spread out.

James had a satisfied look on his face, a mage was the only way to go. They excel in long distance combat, but are able to deal massive damage and protect their teammates with buffs that enhance their stats. James took Xzavon towards a black room, literally a room that was pitch black inside.

Xzavon didn’t know what was happening, James taking him to a dark room with no light. Could he be trying to kidnap Xzavon, so he looked at him and said, “Whats this place?”

James snapped his fingers and a white orb floated out of the ground. “Attribute room, it is to test a persons attribute so they know what spells to train in. For example a person who has a fire attribute can’t learn any other spells but fire related ones. The more attributes one have gives them access to more abilities, normally people have 2 or 3 at most.

Xzavon didn’t need this, he already knew that his attribute would be lightning since the gods didn’t give him access to any other. Xzavon didn’t worry too much, he place his hand on the stone and infused it with some mana. Surprisingly the stone was black then went to blue, next it turned white again. Xzavon didn’t know what was going on, unexpectedly his attribute was different from what he thought it would be.

James eyes sparkled with admiration, the white color meant light magic, which is related to healing and enhancements. The Black, it was the lost magic pertaining towards void magic, but that was a mystery all they knew was that it was black. Lastly the blue represented water or ice magic, that’s mostly used for attacking and defense. “I’m going to expect great things from you, unexpectedly you have 3 attributes, Light, Void, and Water/Ice. If we train you well enough, no one would be able to top us anymore.”

Xzavon didn’t expect that, there was no lightning colored glow on the orb. This doesn’t make any sense, his attribute is clearly Lightning, and yet the stone showed him 3 different ones. Xzavaon needed answers and who better to give it than Uberas. “Hey Uberas! I am clearly a lightning attributed mage, so why didn’t it show up, and why are there other attributes?”

“Huh?…Oh don’t worry about it, I wouldn’t be a god if my lightning was normal right? It’s called Void Lightning, cost me a lot to learn this attribute and now you have it. Black and blue represent the Void Lightning attribute, and the while means neutral. Don’t know why this guy said it meant light magic, if it was light it would have turned golden. Humans are always stupid.”

James threw the orb and it went back into the ground, he turned around and left the room with Xzavon. “Lets go get you a few skill books, that way you can learn a few things before you settle into class. Also when the semi-annual subjugation quest is here, you’ll need a team of 6 to participate, so I suggest you pick teammates wisely. You have 3 months time, so I suggest you move fast.”

This was a huge set back for him, not only did he miss 3 months of school, he even lost his level. He already knew that he needed to train hard if he wanted his team to place high, and he already know what his team is going to be.
